How many dpo were you when you first started feeling the signs and symptoms of pregnancy? Did you feel “different” before you got a BFP on a HPT or was it not until afterwards?

Every month my husband and I try to get pregnant. A lot of times I think it has happened, but I get disappointed because it doesn’t happen. I always have the signs of pregnancy, but I don’t get pregnant. I always get nausea and vomit. I also get cramps, sore breasts, headaches, and sometimes diarrhea. I know that those are also signs of PMS, but how can I tell the difference. I am 32 and have never been pregnant before.

Honestly, I felt like I was going to start my period, PMS and the whole nine yards. But then I didn’t. Even once a month during my 3 pregnancies I still had times where I felt this way. So it’s hard to tell. Everyone is different but from personal experience I know that you can be that way. Good luck.

My lower stomach has been feeling a little bloated and tender (it’s kinda hard to explain the feeling) for a week now. My period isn’t due until the 16th. I think I may be pregnant. My period isn’t due for 5 days, but the past two days my nipples have been hurting so badly to touch. It is painful. My nipples never hurt before like this. About a week before I found out I was pregnant I had very tender breasts and they were leaking (I recently stopped nursing) and I felt more tired than usual.

I feel like i am pregnant and i have the symptoms but i am getting negative pregnancy test
My last period was only bloody (no tissue), ever since i have been miserably exhausted, dizzy, peeing all the time, and hungry for everything and absolutely nothing all at once… Also have had headaches and my stomach just above my pubic bone is hard. Mainly its due to the change in your hormones as your body prepares for birth. Hormones are a chemical balance and pregnancy throws them all out of balance, hence the issues you have while pregnant. Its amazing what the human body does just to a change in chemicals

First off, if your period is late, you need to take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. One sided abdominal pain can be many things, from appendicitis to ovulation to an ovarian cyst. Pain in an ectopic pregnancy is usually not felt till 6 – 8 weeks after a missed period. There are no very early symptoms of this.

I am going to be 6 weeks this weekend(fetal age) to the doctors I’m 2 months today. I’ve been having symptoms since I was 3 and 1/2 weeks, such as throwing up, nauseous. My breasts were hurting when I was already like 2 weeks in my pregnancy that is what made me suspicious that I could be pregnant, to this 6 week I am still with morning sickness is that normal? That is not true! Every pregnancy is different and it’s not impossible to get the symptoms your getting at a very early stage. Morning sickness can last up to the 12th week. Good luck to you and your baby!

Nausea can definitely be a symptom of pregnancy, as well as peeing more, sore breasts, being tired all the time, headaches, etc.

I would definitely get a pregnancy test though, then at least you will know something.
You can even get one at the dollar store, which is how I found out I was pregnant.

I am 36 and 6 days late. I already have children and was not planning on more, so I do however recognize the symptoms of pregnancy. I have taken several home pregnancys tests and they all result in a negative reading? I did have unprotected sex so pregnancy could be a possibility. My mom go through menopause early she is convinced that I am going through perimenopause. Anyone every experience similar, or know anything about this I have been doing some research and cannot find much information. HELP!

Yes, there are lots of similarities. I had this happen when I was about your age – skipped one period completely, and was sure I was pregnant. The primary difference is that when I was pregnant my breasts were very sensitive, and with perimenopause, that doesn’t happen so much.

It sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. You’ll need to get atibiotics asap.

Symptoms for pregnancy vary. I had no symptons until after i was two months pregnant…and that was extremely sour breasts.

Some say the morning sickness doesn’t move in till after 6 weeks, so it would be a bit early for you. My earliest symptom was sore boobs. I usually get sore boobs with my period but it usually happened only like a day before. These were way too early.

It could be pregnancy symptoms. A lot of people will try and tell you that you cannot have symptoms that early, but, YES, you can! I did. I googled early pregnancy signs or symptoms…I can’t remember which one and looked on a website and there are some strange things associated with pregnancy that most people don’t think of. I would suggest that and go from there. If you are very familiar with your body, you will know if something different is going on. I would wait another week, though and test then. Good luck and baby dust to you!
