Question by Soccer Scum: My girlfriend has missed her period and shows no signs of pregnancy. Why could she have missed it?
My girlfriend and I have had sex for awhile, and she just recently missed her period. She shows no signs of pregnancy (Sore/tender breasts, mood swings, bowel problems, eating regularly, doesn’t feel sick, normal discharge), but we are still very scared.

Took a pregnancy test and it said neg but the other I took said positive with a faint line. I took a sonogram in nov of 2010 and it looks a fetus and my dr never discussed the sonogram with me. What do you think?

I became pregnant back in October and I miscarried at only eight weeks. Now, I’m due on the 20th and am feeling those same symptoms from before except earlier. My breasts are HUGE and slightly tender, my face is breaking out, and I have light cramps. Tonight I started feeling very nauseous and got that “i know i’m pregnant feeling”. I know it’s much too early to test but is it possible for me to be feeling these symptoms already?

This is my fourth and with all of them I have known before my period was due. I took early pregnancy tests with them all and I was right. Get a test kit that has a couple of tests in it and take one. If you are having symptoms then you will have the pregnancy hormone. Good luck!

if you got pregnant during your period (which isn’t likely because most people ovulate after their period is over unless you bleed for a loooong time)…you wouldn’t know if you are pregnant until you miss your next period…or maybe a couple days before that

I just want to know what are early signs of pregnancy. I have had a child before but I found out very early of that pregnancy but not every pregnancy is the same. Lately I have been very tired but than again i am lacking very much sleep. so my tiredness can be due to that and not necessarily pregnancy.
I havent been getting much sleep lately and thats just due to my hectic schedule.

Fatigue and exhaustion is an early pregnancy sign for some women. Other signs are
slight bleeding or cramping,
vomiting,
nausea,
dizziness,
food cravings,
breast tenderness,
frequent urination,
mood swings, due to all the hormonal changes,
sensitivity to certain smells… among others.

I posted a question on here last week saying i have some signs of pregnancy I took a test and it was negative, however I still haven’t had my period and still having the signs, is it possible the test could be wrong?? im not sure what to do, if i go to the doctors and test there im sure it will be the same as the test ive already done.

Wait a week then take another. If still negative then go to the docs and have them do a test. Don’t worry about the weight gain, it can happen when you’re pregnant at the start and breaking out can be a sign but don’t pin your hopes on just them signs. Wait for a positive result. Good luck

I have been having some signs of pregnancy lately but I haven’t had my period yet to see if I have missed it or not. I looked online and I have 8 out of 12 signs. I have already taken 2 home pregnancy tests and they both were negative. Do you think it’s too early to tell or am I really not pregnant?

If you haven’t missed your period then you won’t know for sure. Just wait and see or you could get a blood test at the clinic they show up earler than the pee sticks.

I took a test too and it came out negetive, i went to planned parenthood and it was positive. Go to a free clinic in your hometown just to be on the positive side. But also sometimes your mind plays tricks on you. If you thinking your pregnant you can have symptoms but not be. Just check it out.

There are few differences honestly between period and pregnancy signs, until about 4-5 weeks of being pregnant for most women. Wait til she misses her period, if she does miss it, and then take a test. Meanwhile, withdrawl method is unreliable and you need to be smarter next time.

Read the pregnancy test box, it should say on there. If it comes up negative wait a couple more days and see what it says again.

Don’t worry about it. I once was late for like a week, and i was fine. I also panicked.. and caused it to be more late. Let it come when it does.

I took one of those prego tests & it was right.
it has a 99% accurate thing on it…

I had unprotected sex and took the morning after pill the next day, and a week later have my period. I have read that the morning after pill can induce either a late or early period so I hope this is why. But also I know you can be pregnant and still get a period. You can take it as soon as you have a late period. But the longer you wait after the missed period, the more accurate the answer will be. It’s best to wait about a week after your missed period. It’s not good to wait too long obviously.
