Labor began October 29, 2010 at around 3:30 PM. (38 weeks 6 days pregnant) Landon was born on November 1, 2010 at 3:40 PM weighing 7lbs. and 19 3/4 in. long. 72 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing, needed forceps, got through it all with no pain medication.

I can already feel puppies move in her stomach!

Answer by Wookie After about a month or so you can feel the pups. I think it is Day 45 when the vet can do that. If you are feeling them, it is later on in the pregnancy.
Make sure you have your whelping kit, whelping box, and a lot of coffee for the big night!

I have asked around and people say you get a ton of “all of a sudden energy”, but are there any other things that happen to you the last week of pregnancy, like cramps, absentmindedness. I just am so anxious and want to know when she is gonna pop out! I am at 37 weeks and can harldy wait anymore.

Answer by ♥Jazmyn X here in 1 week♥ I actually have gotten a ton of energy the past 2 weeks and last night I had my first contraction (or first intense BH). I couldn’t breath, I could barely move, I could hardly speak it was like the wind was knocked out of me and my stomach was being squeezed inward it was crazy, I’d never felt a BH like that, so I know it should be any day now, and that’s what the doctor said. But yea, I just got a burst of energy and I’ve been walking every night, and running around the house with the dog, and just acting crazy and having fun, it’s like I’m on a high and I’m not really pregnant anymore, because I feel great (which I don’t like because it makes me feel like I’ll be pregnant forever)! i want to take some classes throughout my pregnancy, but the only types im coming up with are the general birthing/labor preparation classes. any other fun helpful class ideas?

Answer by staceface81 I took a breast feeding class through the hospital I was going to have the baby at. I thought it was going to be corny but I loved it! It was only one or two nights and they give you both sides of knowledge on breast feeding and bottle feeding. The class was alot of fun and when I had the baby I felt like I really knew what I was doing when it came to feeding the baby for the first time. I would highly recommend taking this class if you are even considering breast feeding.

I was 38 weeks 1 day pregnant and had some problems throughout the pregnancy. We discovered a very low level of fluid and I had to be induced. My midwife broke my water to get labour going and 3 and a half hours later our baby boy entered the world! Only 25 minutes of pushing, no tearing or epidural. After many attempts of IVF over the course of 6 years, we succeeded. We decided during the 3rd trimester to hire a doula and a midwife and have a home birth. The baby was 2 weeks late and the Doctor had given us an extra week before he stepped in. Because the baby was in a posterior position it took a bit longer to come out and Tracey was in extreme lower back pain. Lower back messages and being in water helped relieve some of that pain.
