What is your opinion on baby think it over and the pregnancy profile vest?

Question by Shelbi =): What is your opinion on baby think it over and the pregnancy profile vest?
Do you think its a good idea to make teens have the baby think it over and the pregnancy profile vest? I’ve done both of them and I think I benifited from both. Do you think it should be required in school, or just optional? The baby think it over cries every 3 or 4 hours. You have to rock it when its fussy, feed it, change its diaper etc. You also have to support its neck and not shake it. The pregnancy profile vest has a “head” that moves when you walk. It makes you gain 30 pounds (i think). It makes you have to frequently use the restroom. It also had two feet up by your stomach. It is very hot to wear. Do you think these are even teaching teens anything? Any other opinions?

the baby think it over was used in my high school…. though i didn’t take the course that required you to have one (child development)… my best friend did… so i got to help… it was just like a game for us…. i can honestly say that it didn’t keep our students from having sex… but promoted the use of protection…. about 10 or less people in my class got pregnant/had children before high school was over… and i’ll guess and say about 50-60 through out the school… by the time i graduated.. my best friend had her first child when she was 21 and recently gave birth to her second…. so i guess it had some effect on some people…. we didn’t use the pregnancy profile vest… but im sure in addition to the baby think it over …. it will prove effective.

Baby Time is a short documentary featuring two expecting parents journey through the labor and delivery of their first child. Shot over the course of three days the film details the expectant mothers pain and effort to get her baby out. The infant child takes a stubborn stance on affairs, preferring to remain within the womb. Expectant father and filmmaker, Sean Hages, narrates the action and utilizes humor to remain calm and helpful. Eventually, when all necessary elements have aligned, the baby is persuaded to emerge by hospital authorities. By Sean Hages (2007)

Do weird dreams when expecting always have to do with the baby or the pregnancy?

Question by : Do weird dreams when expecting always have to do with the baby or the pregnancy?
I’ve been having the weird dreams everyone says you get when you’re pregnant. I’m almost 7 weeks. But the dreams have nothing to do with the baby or the pregnancy. Every book I have gives detail on the kind of dreams to expect and they all have to do with the baby or the pregnancy. But mine haven’t. I have never been able to remember much of my dreams until I got pregnant, but the ones I could remember were no where near as vivid or as crazy. Is that a normal pregnancy thing?

“Jenni” Jennifer Michelle Lake sacrificed her own life to save her baby. Hero Fighter Inspiration

Jenni sacrificed her own life, denying chemotherapy, to save her baby. She is my Hero. We need role models like her. She wasn’t perfect, but she made a perfect effort for her baby. For her young age, she was much more wise, more knowing, and more valiant than most of us can ever be. And definitely more inspirational than so many people on tv these days. “I’m done, I did what I was supposed to. My baby is going to get here safe.” That’s what 17-year-old Jenni Lake told a nurse after she delivered her son Chad Michael Lake Wittman, the Associate Press reported. Twelve days later, on Nov. 21, 2011, the teen mom died from the brain tumor that she had been fighting for more than a year. Her final request: that Chad lay beside her as she died. The migraines had started about a year before, when Jenni was a sophomore at Pocatello High School in Idaho. After doctors found a 2 centimeter mass on her brain from an MRI scan, she was diagnosed with stage three astrocytoma, a tumor that affects the brain and spinal cord. How to Get a Flat Stomach After Baby: Circuit Training Workout

hotandhealthyliving.com This workout was designed by Marissa Lysaght, MPH, CSCS. Marissa is a nationally certified personal training specialist and holds a Master’s Degree in Maternal and Child Health. She specializes in fat loss and pre and post-natal training. She is the co-owner/operator of Fitness Redefined, a boutique fitness studio in Jupiter, FL. www.fitnessredefined.com Staying physically fit is a challenge for everyone, but it can be especially challenging for new moms. This total-body conditioning and core training workout can be done at home (while baby naps!) This workout helps moms-to-be and new moms multi-task by targeting core muscles in their abdominal region in addition to the large metabolically active muscles of the legs, hips, chest, back and arms (strengthening the large muscles will help you burn more calories, even during rest.) While its best to start a fitness program (including these exercises) BEFORE you even get pregnant, the workout program is good for both prenatal and postnatal women. These exercises are recommended for women with no known contraindications, and should be followed according to your own body cues. If you are pregnant, you can begin the exercises slowly. Again, let your body be your guide; never over-exert yourself and avoid doing any movements that cause pain. If youve recently delivered, consult your physician before beginning these exercises (or any exercises for that matter). However, once you get the Green Light to

Higher risk of birth defects or a complicated pregnancy. Talk with your Ob/Gyn. He/She should be able to evaluate your age and health, and let you know if pregnancy is a good idea or not! But most likely (unless you have other health problems) you should be just fine.
