Carla, Just wanted to ask you a couple questions. I have pcos and am now starting 6 weeks. My husband and I conceived naturally PTL! Since I found out i had PCOS i started using more artificial sweeteners to still drink coffee and tea. Do you know if this is can harm the baby? What did you drink during your pregnancy? I appreciate you doing these videos! I currently dont have alot of symptoms as well no really morning sickness just sensitive to smells and large boobies and tired.

Lol. Can you remember back to this video? And now you have her! I am six weeks today and I’m having the same symptoms. I am so tired, especially after 8pm. Boobs are super sensitive too. It’s crazy!

I also want to reccomend JCPenny! I havent had to personally buy maternity clothes (yet!) but when I do become pregnant I know I will need to find plus size maternity and I already started research. JCPenny had many tops and bottoms in plus size…stylish too!! Good Luck!!

i’m 14 wks and my boobs r still sore mostly the nipple, can’t even wash em in the shower… ouch:) I was thristy up to 10 wks, but now i’m forcing myself to drink water… your cat looks like a little person back there:)
Try Motherhood Maternity – I THINK they have great things there. I got nice jeans there (I had a HORRIBLE time trying to find jeans that fit my pregnant body). Good luck!
I am the exact same way about being thirsty…before I was pregnant I also didn’t drink much of anything during the day at work and now…omg I cannot stop drinking water!!
Congrats on the great ultrasound! I was on prometrium as well after having 2 back to back miscarriages. I now have a healthy bouncing 7 month old boy. I swear it was the prometrium. My RE was amazing.
your boobs are going to be sore up until about 12 weks. (well, thats how it was for me)
I bought the gender prediction kit and it wasn’t accurate for me, but it was fun! lol so i reccomend it!!
I agree with Motherhood Maternity having tall jeans. I am average height and I could have pulled those suckers up under my armpits and still need a hem! Don’t get discouraged shopping for clothes though. I haven’t found any maternity pants that are particularly flattering. To me the most comfortable are the ones that are ultra stretchy and completely covers the belly. The ones that fit under the belly always feel like they are going to fall down!

I totally jinx myself about morning sickness. Cause now I have all day sickness. Its getting rough.
if your interested at all in a natural birth I would HIGHLY recommend hiring a midwife and maybe a doula as well, I had my first baby in a hospital with an epidural and then my second baby with a midwife and the experience was just out of this world amazing with my midwife. just my 0.02

Ok, I went to the JC Penny website, and thier sizes are 1X, 2X and 3X too. I wore a size 24 and a 3X, you might be able to use that to gage what size you would need.
I wore a size 24 when I was pregnant, and I’m about 5’9. I found my maternity jeans at a JC Penny outlet store. I’m not sure if there’s a website or a store near you, but if there is, you might hit maternity pants jackpot like I did.

i was so very sick from the day i turned 6 weeks to just about 25 weeks!! it was horrible! i hade hyper emesis!! it was all day everyday! i had to take meds to help me keep at least water down! but all of it was well worth it!! good luck on the jeans, i had the hardest time. im 6 foot tall as well! my sister ended up finding some for me at a lil trade store!
@sweetlinaa Your dog is an acception and sometimes it happends just like some dogs have blood run down their legs when on their period. Nature isn’t perfect.
@brazillo19 Not really.. When my dog were pregnant she didnt wanna eat much in periods, she threw up and were soo tired. :/
@cheshirepat30 I was; her sister. She said that she gets it just as bad; it runs in the family. I did not want to get her all knocked up and me being responsible if she didn’t or the child didn’t make it. At the time she was 34, and to me that’ a little old to be getting pregnant, let alone being that morning sick.

@summerchic21 ok I guess so, I’m not a woman so I can’t imagine it. I hate puking and feeling lousy like that, so for me, it would be hell. And I would reconsider having another child. I’d rather adopt before I put myself through that. Besides doesn’t the womb get hammered because of the constant violent squeezing of the diaphram and abdominal muscles when vomiting occures? I remembered always going to the hospital with my ex and saw how sick her sister was; I thought that she was going to die.
@brazillo19 yes but not all suffer with those things. But they are also they only ones to have the most complications during birth…. It is all worth it tho
Human females are the only creatures in the animal kingdom that have an awful time during pregnancy, with the stretch marks, the sickness, the weight gain, the tender breasts, so forth and so on.
I’m glad I’m a guy, that I don’t ever have to worry about morning sickness. o pregnancy is worth getting that sick.

oh congrats! how many weeks are you? Hopefully you dont get it as bad, was your first a girl or boy? Coz i was more sick with this one and we know its gonna be a girl, (first was a boy) but luckily most of the sickness is over now …. just the heartburn to deal with now lol.

I learned to eat after I got sick. haha just remember it does go away. I just found out that I’m pregnant again so I’m hoping that I don’t have the morning sickness this time. but I’m definitely feeling very tired and dizzy.
yes i did, I had black hair to start with, then during the first trimester i dyed it blonde several times but turned out morange so i dyed it black again after a few weeks lol. I wasnt aware that it would do any harm to bub at the time but obviously he turned out fine and there is no evidence of hair dye doing any harm so Im not worried. Obviously the less chemicals used on your body the better, but theres so many in cosmetic products, shampoo etc these days that its hard to avoid everything!

yeah, I had my son at 38weeks, 2 days…. felt like a lifetime of waiting those last few weeks after I hit about 35weeks! & I am only 4″11 so I was getting quite cramped towards the end! I hope you have an easy pregnancy!
Oh congrats you must be so happy, i know what u mean, i remember it being so slow towards the end of my last pregnancy, so lucky for me he came 2 weeks early!
It starts to speed up once you find out the babys gender and then once you hit about 34-35 weeks it slows way down again!! Its such a rollercoaster! I had my son on July 10th and everyday has been going by soooo fast since then!
your time will come darl! I always wanted a bub so was happy when i had my first at 19, and even more lucky to have found the guy that wanted the same thing. But having a baby changed my life for the better… probly saved my life lol
