@lostlittlegirlygirl I figured that, as well, about the blood pressure; it’s just the nurse and doctor were both commenting on it and making it seem–not like a big problem, but like something to keep an eye on. I feel fine, though. I have been stressed/anxious lately, AND tired, so that could be why.

Induction DOES increase risk for c-section. That’s what happened to me. I got induced at 38 weeks and 6 days and ended up having a c section
It totally sucked. Try everything you can to go into labor before you get induced. The doc had me lay in bed for 28 hours until my son went into fetal distress (couldn’t walk because pitocin was hooked up to me). Try to walk in the delivery room if they’ll let you. It’ll help a lot!! good luck with your little man!! I’m sure everything will work out fine
i am impressed how calm and strong you are you are gonna be a great mom!!!!!!! and dont be scared i am girl too and one day i will be a mom but it really scares me out just thinking about labor !!!!!!!!!!! and its really cute that he moves when the nurse is not there

You have the right to refuse an induction. Unless it’s an emergency (which it’s not), you don’t HAVE to be induced. You should watch The Business of Being Born.
But yeah, definitely try those tricks. Walk walk walk walk walk. Just go to the mall or outside and WALK for a long time. Have sex (let him come inside you, semen can help induce labor), and bounce on an exercise ball. He’ll come

i heard all those rumores about being induced as well, but dont be scared im sure it will go fine!! as long as the baby is healthy. i think the lower your fluids the greater the risk for infection , so that probably why they want you to go in. Good luck!!
