When I did my NT scan they said no to a guess and explained how its too early. I just wanted a guess.
Hi, I so hope you have your girl! I read somewhere and saw a vlog on it and i also asked my Dr and ultrasound tech about it and they all said it ‘s true.. If you look at your ultrasound pic.. If the umbilical cord is pointing straight up it’s a girl however if the umbilical cord is at an angle/ tilted it’s a boy.. You can use your boys ultrasound pics as a reference.. Good Luck..

@MadreMaven oh you liberal looney hippies, I am sorry you do not just get to choose your gender! You are born male or female sometimes yes rarely some people are born with both sex parts then I guess you can choose what you feel like more…I guess, other than that NO you can not choose your gender! God chooses that!!!!
Any tips on breastfeeding? I had trouble with my last one and I had to start giving him formula. Hoping with the new addition it will come easier. By the way, I love your videos!!! I am about a week or so behind you.
I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks and the lady said 100% it was a boy. I went back at 20 weeks and it was a girl. So there is still hope for a little girl. =)

I am a registered nurse starting nurse practitioner school in the spring (hoping to work in an ob/gyn clinic someday). I have an 8 week old son and I wish I looked as awesome as you! I have a friend who is 30 weeks pregnant and at around 14 weeks she was told it was a boy, and at her 20 week ultrasound – plain as day – it’s a girl! So there is hope for you

I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks and they told me boy…looked just like a penis!! BUT at 20 weeks it was a girl. She was very swollen from hormones. I swear, all my ultrasound pics from 14 weeks look just like a penis! so there is still a chance!

Are you talking “ball on the end” as in you think you were seeing the glans (head) of the penis. Because that would be impossible to see. The baby has a foreskin that makes the penis smooth and look more like a thumb. Even in a full term infant you can’t see the head of the penis. The foreskin covers it completely to protect the head of the penis from germs and chaffing dipes/ pants.

You didnt like what I said, fine, but I dont want to hear the same thing every time I say gender. I get it , its your pet peeve. I dont want to sound rude or sound like all must agree, because lord knows I dont agree with many things people say. @MadreMaven The thing is , this is not a professional forum, this is my personal life. I do not have to be correct as it pleases you. Nor is impoper for a professional to say gender. Without getting into the mental aspect of choosing a differnet gender identity,,may I suggest you refrain from any of my videos that concern my childs GENDER as I am sure it will not be worded to your approval. I think it bugs me most because you are going to be a Midwive and are a Doula. Call it what it is. My comment may not change your mind, and that is fine, but maybe someone reading will get annoyed enough with me to research it more and slowly make the switch.

I know what you mean I was obsessed with 12 week scan photo’s and nums with my 2nd pregnancy I thought I could see a penis in my photo’s and sure enough I was right and I had another boy :-p xx
