I recently had a miscarriage (blighted ovum) at the beginning of Feb ’07. Had a d & c done. I had all the pregnancy symptoms except for morning sickness. I just had a cycle last week and we are getting ready conceive and was wondering when would morning sickness occur? I have also heard that you are very fertile the next 3 months after a d & c. Is this true. Really want to have a baby.

Morning sickness generally occurs between week 9 and 12 but it can happen sooner or later than that…and some lucky women never get morning sickness.
Don’t know if there is actually any truth in being very fertile after a d & c….but I can tell you that I have had two miscarriages and was pregnant within 3 months of both of them.

Not everyone gets morning sickness, I have had two kids and never had any morning sickness with either. The first sure sign if you don’t have any other symptoms would be missing a menstrual cycle.

i agre e wit hya ..ive also heard your most fertile within 1-3 months a=of having a d&c…with my last pregnancy (god rest his/her sole) i got morning/all day sickness @ 6 weeks .keep trying ! best of luck and sorry for your lost!
