Q&A: Is it possible to have pregnancy symptoms a week and a half after ovulation?

Question by Mommy of two :) : Is it possible to have pregnancy symptoms a week and a half after ovulation?
Been having pains in my lower abdomen and extremely tired and have no energy. My husband and I had intercourse every possible day of my ovulation which started around 12th and ended sometime around 18th. Is it possible to have symptoms this early on? I’m not due for my period till the 4th of July. I don’t remember the pregnancy symptoms wtih my first and now we’re trying to have our second. Just getting excited is all.

No. At this point you’ve most likely barely implanted. Your hCG levels wouldn’t be high enough either. About 2 or 3 weeks after conception (4 weeks after your last period) do hCG levels start to get high enough for symptoms to start.

yea you can every prego is diffrent im on the same boat as you are rite now .. when was did you start yoru period

  2. cmd0622 says:

If you started ovulating on the 12th and you conceived then, it’s been two weeks. You can definately feel symptoms after two weeks.

I personally felt the egg moving down the fallopian tube. Everyone is different. Good luck!

I would imagine symptoms could be possible very early. I am currently 14.5 weeks and I started having extremely sore breasts and was very tired about 3 weeks after I ovulated. I then missed my period and found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. From that point on, the symptoms just got worse.

I’m not sure, but I hope so. I’m in the exact same situation. Period due on 4th July. Did all the same things as you.
I’m feeling a little nauseous and my belly feels bloated. I’ve had spotting (which has stopped), which I’m taking to be implantation bleeding and cold flushes.
It’s so hard to wait for a missed period to find out for sure when you just want it so badly.

    Good luck.

People say no, but I felt ravenously hungry

YES YOU CAN! The different symptoms I experienced during the cycle I got pregnant gave me a hunch that I was successful. I had mild cramping for a few days 6 days after ovulation. Then the week before my period was due, I had a very heavy uncomfortable feeling in my lower abdomen, hunger pains (I have never experienced hunger pains before), and I was definitely winded when involved with physical activities (and I’m a very active person). I got my positive 12 days past ovulation! I really feel that if you know your body really well, you can definitely noticed differences, but remember every woman is different. Good luck!
