My friend thinks she may be pregnant. She says it was 3 weeks ago when she had sex, so she wants to know what are the first month signs? How can she tell if she is without getting a pregnancy test?
and when do you start showing?
also keep in mind she’s 14.

Sore breasts, a little nauseous — sometimes even a little bit of vaginal discharge. I also always used to get this strange tight feeling behind my belly button. Best to just take a pregnancy test. They’re pretty darn accurate, and I even had one work VERY positively before I even missed my period.

If within the month, she feels nauseau, bloating, cravings, fatigue etc – take a home pregnancy test and schedule and keep a medical appt for confirmation.
There are many different early pregnancy symptoms and they are different for each woman. Many of the tell tale signs are…sore/swollen breasts, veins showing in breasts, cervical mucus, tiredness, dizziness, emotional, cramping, metallic taste in your mouth, excessive saliva, food aversions or cravings, sense of smell becomes extremely sensitive as well, nauseated, vivid dreams, headaches and on and on and on. There are so many early pg symptoms, but those are the main ones most women complain about. And there really isn’t any other way to tell if she is pregnant without a pregnancy test, she can go to a planned parenthood office and get one for like $ 1 or free. But I would suggest waiting until the day after your missed period so you know for sure that the answer the pregnancy test gives you is the correct answer!
Well, my first signs were that I thought my period was about to come. My boobs were sore. Then I felt nausious about 7 weeks into my pregnancy. She may just have the same syptoms as if she were about to get her period.
She is going to have to get a pregnancy test to confirm her pregnancy about 2 weeks after her missed period, there is no way to know otherwise. She can buy one or go to planned parenthood for free! It does not matter how old you are.
Most women start to show around 4 to 5 months into their pregnancies. Unless they have had a pregnancy before.
If she is only 14 she souldn’t be having sex either, because her body is still maturing, also her income is her mom and dad. She really needs to think more clearly.
