Seeing the different ways women move through their labor is important. Also seeing how normal life is between contractions. This was a long labor so we went to the park, watched a movie, made cookies, did a belly cast, and more. You can read the whole story here http Our daughter was born in our home in the presence of my husband, my sister, my nephew (3 years old), and my niece (9months) and my midwife.
