Abortion in the United States
Who are the women who obtain abortions in the United States? Why do they decide to end a pregnancy? What are their social and economic circumstances? @stripe, the point is once a man has “veto power” most of the unplanned pregnancies will stop. A woman will have to find a man who is not taking “the pill ” to get pregnant. In fact, unplanned pregnancies will be rare, while women are “flighty and emotional” about having babies, men are more practicle. Once having a child becomes a “bilateral decision” then most children will be wanted and welcome, by both parents, not just mom who thought having a child was so much fun.
@spripe
So were you. So was Jesus.
Let God play God. Let people see that all lives are sacred, including our own.
It would be good to have a president who values life as sacred.
Have you heard about Obomba’s kill list, by the way?
@eastariel Hitler was a fetus once
@unclefixer Except for all the unwanted ones
I have read Roe v Wade, its bad law, and the moral issue not withstanding, sooner or later abortion will be once again illegal. Its a hard call, sometimes abortions are necessary, but not most of the time. I, also believe that a “mans pill’ may tip the issue, when a man can say no, a man can prevent a pregnancy, you will see a change. Women won’t like it and the people who get rich off this “racket” will lose a lot of money. But the kids who are born into this world, will be welcome and wanted
Outlawing abortion isn’t about the mother being bad. It’s about the baby being good.
Thank you for this vid Guttmacher!!
Let’s keep abortion legal and safe!
Personal opinion on abortion aside, the animation is amazing in this video.
No fetus can defeat us! Keep abortion safe and legal!
Year 2020:
He no longer loved his wife. And he was tired — so very tired — of supporting her. It was so inconvenient! He wanted to date other women and hang with his buddies.
So he hired an aborter to come to his house, knock a hole in his wife’s head, and suction out her brain. Then they cut off her arms and legs and threw the fetus pieces into a dumpster.
(U.S. House Bill 13: “a fetus is defined as anyone not paying taxes.”)
It was legal. Laws only existed to protect the rich and powerful.
Thank you so much for this video! People really have no idea how common abortion is. Over 1 in 3 women will get one. Many of these women are married and already have children. Many of these women are also religious and conservatives (check out the article “The Only Moral Abortion Is My Abortion”). It’s not like it’s just promiscuous, careless young girls.
And I personally believe that if men could get pregnant there would be an abortion clinic in every McDonalds and strip club.
@BigMikeMcBastard
Putting a born baby into a “bucket” isn’t an abortion. That would count as infanticide if it happened as he claimed. Like I asked, can anyone verify his claim? Why didn’t he report it?
Yeah, it is a dumb argument.
@loner1878 To all the pro-life and pro-choice, watch this award winning documentary and see where you stand at the end.
Look up 180 movie on youtube or 180movie.com
@loner1878 I think Paul is saying he saw a post-24 week late abortion where the fetus was actually responsive. If that’s true, it’s incredibly rare, but if that did happen, I’d say that the issue is that the fetus was discarded rather than attempted to be kept alive. It isn’t a condemnation of abortion that it happened at all, though, which is what Paul is trying to sell people. “This one time this thing happened, therefore no abortions ever” is a idiotic assertion on his part.
@627dre
Okay, watched it, not impressed. What he saw wasn’t even an abortion. If his story is true about it being alive and simply put aside in a bucket (I don’t buy into there being a bucket in a proper operating room), did he not report this incident? Why not? Has his story been corroborated in any way?
While I DO NOT AGREE WITH COVERING ABORTION I believe this is an eye opener in terms of WHO is having an abortion..not who I thought
@627dre, why don’t you answer loner1878′s question?
@loner1878 He describes something he saw where two fetuses both around 5 months (I think) were delivered, while one was aborted and the other was saved. It’s 64 seconds long.
@627dre
You’re not telling me why.
@loner1878 I think it’s relevant.
@627dre
I already don’t like Ron Paul or his views (plus he’s not going to win) so I don’t see why I would be interested in what he has to say. Can you tell me if this ad presents any new arguments or points?
@loner1878
Look up “Ron Paul Life Ad”, I’m curious what your take is.
@627dre
1) You inferred that, I didn’t imply it. I don’t like that my tax dollars fund a lot of things, but I can see the ramifications if all taxpayers could pick and choose what to fund. Its called the social contract.
2) I’ve seen plenty firsthand from my work as a clinic escort.
@627dre
You were born. On June 26 you had no social security number, would not have been counted in the census, etc. Why do you consider June 27th to be the day you start counting your age rather than nine months before? And notice I didn’t rest my argument only on the ability to reason: “A new born child, unlike a fetus, is a physically separate entity.”
You could make that argument. But its irrelevant to the argument here.
@loner1878
1. It is the “way things work” that taxpayers don’t have a choice on where each of their dollars go to. But, they theoretically could, just like abortion theoretically could be illegal. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re implying that the taxpayer’s rights are not being violated because taxpayers don’t get to choose what their money supports. How is this different (in principle, not magnitude) from a woman deciding what her uterus supports?
2. Yes, there are hypocrites.
