The sad part is that some who disagree with universal health care say, everyone can already go into an Emergency Room and never be denied treatment. Which is the main problem. The Emergency Room does expensive surgeries, and not preventative care. Also, without insurance, people who see a doctor are stuck paying this high bill that they can’t afford, and those who do have insurance may still be denied coverage.

@28stads We do have the best healthcare in the world…. If you’re rich and can afford it. As a person who is out of work for health reasons I can attest to how shitty it is. I can’t even get the treatment I need to reenter the workforce because I can’t afford it. So its a lovely ‘spinning my wheels’ situation.
