What’s happened to the Party formerly known as GOP? Have their vision and core values eroded? Has the religious right kidnapped Jesus, and with it all political control, holding not only their party, but the American People hostage? We hear “what the American People want” and that “the American People have spoken”, and more of the same. The American People WANT to be forced into ridiculous health insurance schemes (aka business as usual)? The American People want NO public option (aka NO Choices)? The American People WANT to lose their unions, the benefits and rights associated with them? The American People WANT women to be FORCED to carry each and every pregnancy to term and give birth with no CHOICE? The American People WANT the middle class and working poor to tighten their belts in order for the wealthy few to keep increasing their wealth, allowing social services to shrink and guaranteeing a quick return to the gilded age? The American People seem to WANT the Tea Party (aka ignorant adults against anything a Democrat might suggest or propose, no matter how beneficial it may be for ALL Americans) idiology to replace our Democracy. The American People want a Christian Thocracy with obendience not only to thier Republican representatives and their CEO cronies, but to the one and only Christian God of the Bible. Reading the Bible is optional, adhearance to doctrine however is mandatory. Are we ready for this New World Order under a Michell Bachmann or Rick Perry …
