I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s a chance that you will have SOME of that weight forever… maybe not, but maybe.

In my opinion, don’t use diets where you “count points”. They tend to stress, distract and make you cheat on your diet. Start off taking baby for walks/jogs in the stoller. I DO recommend pilates. Good luck!

    Well Ma’am,
Coming to the diet part 1st:-
You are raising an infant and that takes alot of energy so please do not starve your self.
You can change your eating patterns though.
Avoid fats i.e. butter , oil, cream, rich cheese, visible and hidden (that small pat of butter in the pan while cookiing risotto)
Avoid aereated and alcoholic drinks like cola/beer.
    Avoid juices with added sugar.
    Reduce caffeine intake.
Intead of morning tea, have spoon of honey with atwist of lemon in warm water every morning when you get up say at 6.
Go natural (do not absolutely abstain always take miniscule quantity of evry thing though).
Eat marinated and roasted chicken instead of grilled steak.
Have anumber of small meals, say 5 instead of 3 large ones (say Breakfast at 8, A snack at 11, Lunch at 1330, Evening snack at 1800hrs, and dinner at 2000hrs).
Do not stay awake late watching TV(Late night TV makes you hungry, sounds illogical but is true).
    Now for the exercise part.
the best exercise would be brisk walking for an hour or so, twice if possible. Longer on weekends and holidays.
THis will work, I am willing to bet on it

The TTP40 weight management program would be my suggestion. It helps you lose the weight while gaining the energy that you need to take care of a new baby. I was convinced when I saw the before/afer pictures of a physician who whent on the program after having her baby and I was highly impressed by her results and the simplicity of the plan. If you’re interested, I can send it to you.
