If a woman is on the diet in which she takes the HCG hormone will a pregnancy test come up positive? This is a popular diet now, and it works by administering HCG, and the bodys reaction to the hormone, speeding up the metabolism or something like that.

The HGC diet is horrible for women, the diet wants you to have a super low calorie intake, which is a lot less than what the normal calorie intake should be.
I did the HCG diet, and it worked wonders for me. After being off the diet for about 6 weeks I was late one month. I wasn’t pregnant and the test was not positive. However, in reading the directions with the test it does say that it tests for the HCG hormone. Since the hormone is put into your system with the drops or injections, I would have to assume that there is a chance that you could test positive for pregnancy while on the diet.
