  1. Erin says:

It’s fine, as long as it’s in moderation. The only thing they are worried about in soda is the caffeine, and the sugar of course, but if you take it in moderation, you’ll be fine.

  2. Sara says:

dont drink it to much maybe 2 a week………

  3. Nina says:

Drinking carbonated beverages during pregnancy is ok as long as it is done in moderation. You should avoid caffeine and make sure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water a day.

  4. Rachelle says:

It is one of those question what are the right things to eat?
You see 100 years ago women worked there butts of FULL TERM PREGNANT they also ate what ever.
Because science we know what we should eat and we shouldn’t, I think you can have diet coke just in moderation, Do people drink glasses of wine pregnant on spesh occasions YES so what would be the diffrence between coke and wine.
    Hope this helps Rach.

  5. Laloni says:

yes you just cant drink too much

  6. Kathryn says:

It’s fine, but don’t overdo it, you shouldn’t drink more than 200mg of caffeine a day. I found I had trouble sleeping and anxiety attacks, and giving up caffeine altogether helped me to settle.

  7. blueeyd_princess says:

The artificial sweeteners are actually not good for you or baby. Try drinking the diet coke with splenda instead. I love diet coke and keep hearing its worse then drinking reg. coke. I thought it would be better no sugars and all.

The caffeine recommend not to go over 200 mg so keep that in mind also. definitely try to drink more water.

  8. amandagwa says:

NO NO NO!!!! Diet soda is so much worse for you than regular soda and neither of them have any nutritional value! There are chemicals in soda and even more in diet soda that can cause birth defects and other health complication. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated during pregnancy also.
