This is the birth of my son Slater from October 2009. That’s not my real body. My you-can-tell-I-go-to-the-gym body is slowly being returned to me. This birth was a successful midwife-assisted VBAC – no pain killers. I had no clue what I was having, but I thought I for sure I was having a girl, though, based on the differences between this pregnancy and my first pregnancy with my other son. (Had he been a she, his name would have been “Adina” – like “Idina,” my favorite singer, but with an “A.”)

@rentluver06 one of my friends pointed out that my husband didn’t say thank you or great job after I was born, either.
@lolg2grofl My son born here is almost two; he doesn’t watch videos at all. My son who was five at the time of this video has watched it.
@sammiluvsmyluvkins I’m almost 40. I don’t remember what losing my virginity felt like. Sorry!
you did a great job
@MissyMe444 It hurt, but I’ve had worse pain than that. And, this pain was definitely worth it. Slater is a happy, healthy 14-month-old now.
Ohhh sweetie, That looked as if that was painful! But I hope that you had a wonderful experience, and that your baby is great and healthy!
@eyeluvmyson Good luck! Your first time sounds a lot like mine did, only your labor was almost twice as long (mine was 17 1/2 hours with four hours of pushing – he was stuck; hence, the c-section). And, it was about an hour before I got to hold him, too. This labor was about as perfect as could be except for a few minor issues with the hospital nurse annoying me while holding the monitor on (she was a nice nurse, and I know she was just doing her job).
Great job. I am due in the beginning of Nov. with my second. I am really hoping to have a successful vbac. My first child’s birth i had to have a c-section after 32 hours of active labor which i wasn’t even awake for because i felt them cut me open.that alone was traumatizing to me. i didnt even get to see my son for the first hour after his birth. wasn’t the first to hold him or see him. I was sad. Your video makes it look easier then i expected for a vbac and it gives me great hope. Thank
2 dias atrás I had my son sitting, he was born with three pounds!! It was a quiet and natural childbirth, I felt a sharp pain with a burning expusão head in vagina a lot of pressure. It was so painful but at the same time magical !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next I give the same natural way! One would doubt me, I’m not criticizing you but you’d better be sitting, or squatting or even facilitate the departure of four of the drinks because the force of gravity, no?? Congratulations!
No próximo quero dá mesma forma natural!!!
Tudo vale a pena!!!!
Enfim felicidades.

wow. you did amazing, the whole birth. great job !!!!
I had been on a birthing ball. However, since this was in a hospital and the day shift nurses were there, we had to keep the monitor on. The day shift nurse who was holding the monitor on me was making things uncomfortable, so I decided to get back in bed. Also, my sacroiliac joint was out, so I would have had difficulty on all fours. My original plan was to be moving around on my feet, but that wasn’t possible.
Pushing against gravity sucks huh? The midwife should have had you squatting or on all fours to help ease the baby out so that you didn’t have to push so hard. Nice video though. Good job on the un-medicated, VBAC! :0)
Congrats!
You did a great job! Sounded intense. That one push was really amazing when the baby’s entire head emerged (though I’m sure that must have been uncomfortable for you!)
Beautiful! Great job Mom!
congratulation.
