Our bellies look similar…i used to cry a little and be so stressed (even though this is my second) because I have no friends who have been through some of these pregnancy issues! several reasons for avoiding herbs in capsules. First, it is difficult to know what is in the capsule, unless you have filled the capsules yourself, so it can be dangerous to use capsules, often the wrong part of the herb is packed and sold. Second, capsules do not generally contain enough medicine to have much positive medicinal benefit for the user. Third, herbs generally work better as tinctures or infusions (depending on herb and use) the body reacts better to things it can identify (taste).
Can you be more specific as to why you do not like herbal medicines in capsules. I know tinctures and infusions are wonderful. Is there a negative effect (not just “not as effective”) from taking capsules, in your opinion.

I think the herbs can act as stress adaptogens for adrenal support as well. And that helps balance out the hormones, calming anxiety. “Green blessings”..I like that.
What can you tell me about siberian ginseng. I have experienced the biggest relief taking B5, B complex, lots of C with siberian ginseng. wow

Thanks so much for this! Great suggestions. Did you know that our Congress is considering making “screening” for PPD “mandatory” in maternity wards? Many say this is possibly due to the influence of pharmaceutical companies that would like to sell more chemical anti-depressant prescriptions.
