Some women do not experience morning sickness at all while others experience one all throughout their pregnancy.

Fatigue
This symptom would usually begin early on in the pregnancy. You will even notice that at the start of the day you would already feel tired, as if you have been working for hours and hours already. What you can do is to take regular breaks to make sure you body will be more rested.

Aches

This would typically refer to backaches and headaches. Backaches are usually evident in the latter part of the pregnancy while headaches come in much earlier and are due to hormonal changes in the body. However, backaches and headaches can also be brought about by so many other factors.

Frequent Urination

There is often a need to pee starting from the 6th week of conception. Growth in the uterus gives you the urge of wanting to pee because it increases the pressure in the bladder. What you can do to lessen this especially during the night is to decrease liquid intake before going to bed; Kegel exercises; and empty your bladder completely- avoid holding it in.

Darkened Areolas

The area surrounding the nipples tends to get darker during pregnancy. This is brought about by hormonal changes in the body.

Missed Period

This is probably the most obvious sign of pregnancy. An expectant mother does not have a period during pregnancy so if you missed yours, it could be a strong sign you are pregnant. However, it is also important to note that a missed period could be brought about by stress or illness. On the other hand, some pregnant women may also have a period for a few months.

If you are having these symptoms then you are most likely pregnant. However, you can never be too sure because such symptoms can also be due to other things. What you can do is get some pregnancy tests; you can find them at the local drugstore or you can go to a doctor’s clinic and have a blood test done.

Pregnancy is a wonderful thing. Celebrate it by taking good care of yourself and your baby.
